Synopsis: Samuel is a ten year-old American boy temporarily living in a Nigerian village with his grandparents. Life in the village is not easy because his Grandmother is mean; he hates his school and most of all he longs to be home in America with his mother. Samuel saves what money he acquires in his “American Fund” with the desire to run away back to the States.
